How to register a clients business through the Partner Portal
- On your landing page, click Add Client.
- Select that you, the advisor are signing up on the client's behalf.
- Enter the business owner's information. For non-profits, enter the information of the person responsible for the legal entity such as a CEO, CFO, President, VP, Treasurer, etc. If there are multiple owners, you will be prompted to enter the information for the additional owners later in the application.
- Click Next.
- Enter the business information.
- Click Next.
- If there are additional Beneficial Owners, this is where you will enter their information.
- Click Next.
- Once the application has been submitted, we will reach out via email to the beneficial owners for identity verification and ask them to create a password/setup two-factor authentication to secure their accounts.
How to check on the status of an open application
- On your dashboard click View on the right-hand side of the page.
- If additional documents are required, you will see them listed. You can upload these documents directly to the application from this page by clicking the Upload icon. If no additional documents are required and/or we are reviewing the application you will see the following:
Once an application has been approved, the client's business will no longer be listed on your dashboard.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Will I be able to access my client's account once it is approved?
- No. Once an account is approved, access is only available to the business owners and their team members and advisors.
- How will my client be notified that I submitted an application for them?
- Your clients will be notified an application was submitted on their behalf via email, at the email address you provided for them during registration.
- I made a mistake on an application, can I edit it?
- Once an application is submitted it cannot be edited through the Partner Portal or by the business owner. If any changes need to be made to an application, please reach out to out Support Team for assistance.
