Switching to Instant frequency (Beta Feature)
If you change a rule’s frequency to Instant, it will begin evaluating each transaction as it occurs. The rule will trigger the next time a transaction causes the account balance to exceed your set maximum.
Please Note: Updating the frequency alone will not trigger the rule immediately — a transaction must occur for the rule to activate.
Permissions
Only team members with Administrator permissions, or advisors with Super Administrator permissions, can create and/or edit auto-transfer rules.
Does switching to Instant make the rule run right away?
Not immediately. The rule will trigger when a new transaction meets the conditions of the rule—such as a deposit that pushes the account above the max balance.
Are there any limitations with Instant Auto-Transfers?
Yes. A few key things to keep in mind:
- An account can't be both the source and destination in an Instant rule.
- You can't set up multiple Instant rules from the same source account.
- Savings accounts cannot be used as the source in any auto-transfer rule.
