All physical cards require a 4-digit PIN which is to be set during card activation. Virtual cards also have the option of setting a PIN, though they are not required.

How to update your card PIN (Web)
- Sign in to your Relay account.
- Navigate to the Cards tab.
- Select the card you would like to change the PIN for.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top-right corner of your screen, then click Change PIN.
- Enter your old 4-digit PIN, then your new 4-digit PIN.
- Click Change PIN again.
- Allow up to 10 minutes after changing your PIN before attempting to make a payment with your debit card.
How to update your card PIN (Relay Mobile App)
- Sign in to the Relay app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the Cards tab.
- Select the card you would like to change the PIN for.
- Tap Change PIN.
- Enter your old 4-digit PIN, then your new 4-digit PIN.
- Tap Change PIN again.
- Allow up to 10 minutes after changing your PIN before attempting to make a payment with your debit card.
