On February 6th, 2024, Relay announced a new and improved Partner Program for accountants and bookkeepers – one that invests in you as much as you invest in Relay when you onboard a client to our platform. As part of this announcement, we are also launching an Advisor Directory to help you find more clients who already bank with Relay!
Qualifying Partner firms will be promoted to businesses that land on Relay’s website to search for a firm, and new Relay clients who do not already have an accountant or bookkeeper will be encouraged to find one in the Advisor Directory. Partners who have a Partner Portal and a Relay account for their own firm can apply to be added to our Advisor Directory by following the steps outlined here.

How can I get my firm on the Relay Advisor Directory?
To submit an application to be featured in Relay's Advisor Directory, you’ll need to have a firm account with Relay as well as use Relay as your firm's business banking solution. If you meet those requirements, you can submit your profile information through your Relay account under Settings > Advisor Directory.
How will you promote the Advisor Directory?
Relay actively promotes the Advisor Directory to business owners on Relay who do not currently work with an accountant or bookkeeper.
Can I update my firm's information on the Directory?
Your firm's information can be updated in your firm's account Settings and the changes will be reflected in your Advisor Directory profile within 24 hours.
How will I know when business owners want to contact me?
If a business owner is trying to get in touch, you will either receive an email notification from Relay or the business owner will go directly to your website to personally reach out. It will be up to you to reach out to the potential client or not.
What types of information can I display on my directory profile?
- Your firm's website and bio;
- Firm name, address, and phone number;
- A list of the accounting software you use;
- A list of services you offer;
- A list of the industries you support;
- A list of your certifications or credentials;
- Whether or not you are Relay Banking Partner Certified;
- Whether or not you offer remote or virtual services; and
- Whether or not you use, or are familiar with, the Profit First cash management methodology.
Can I update one of the pre-populated fields?
The pre-populated fields are linked to the information you submitted when you initially registered with Relay. Firm information can be updated in your firm’s account Settings and the changes will be reflected in your Advisor Directory profile. Some information, such as first name, last name and email address, cannot be changed.
My profile isn’t changing when I update the details in my account, what should I do?
If your Advisor Directory profile isn't updating after you've updated your account settings, please reach out to our Customer Experience team and we will help troubleshoot.
How does my profile show up in search results? Can I improve it?
When you add your credentials, services, and software you support, you improve your profile's placement.
How can I get my Directory profile removed?
If you wish to remove your firm's profile from the Relay Advisor Directory, please contact our Customer Experience team.
