All observed holidays listed below are statutory bank holidays in the United States. This means that they do not count as business days. Any transactions into or out of Relay will resume processing on the next business day if sent on any of the dates listed below1,2

  • New Year's Day (January 1st)
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 15th)
  • President's Day (third Monday of February)
  • Memorial Day (last Monday of May)
  • Juneteenth (June 19th)
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day (first Monday of September)
  • Columbus Day (second Monday of October)
  • Veterans Day (November 11th)
  • Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday of November)
  • Christmas Day (December 25th)

1 Holidays that fall on a Saturday are observed on the Friday preceding the holiday, whereas holidays that fall on a Sunday are observed on the following Monday.

2 When sending and receiving international payments, timelines may also be affected by the statutory holidays of the countries of the sending, receiving, or intermediary institution.
