Adding cash at an AllPoint+ ATM
With your Relay Visa debit card, you can add cash at any AllPoint+ ATM nationwide.
To find an AllPoint+ ATM near you, visit the Allpoint+ ATM Locator. In the ATM Locator map, you'll be able to sort by AllPoint+ (cash deposit enabled) ATMs by clicking on the filter button, which appears to the right of the search.
When you arrive at the ATM:
- Insert your card into the machine and enter your PIN to start the process.
- Follow the prompts to complete your transaction.
- A receipt will be provided once the transaction is complete.
AllPoint+ ATMs have a transaction limit of $1,000 per transaction and are surcharge-free.
Adding cash at a Green Dot® Network participating retailer
Relay partners with Green Dot® Network to support adding cash to your account at over 90,000 partnering retailers. Green Dot® participating retailers include Walmart®, Walgreens®, CVS®, 7-Eleven®, and more.
To add cash with a Green Dot® Network participating retailer, look up a location here: Retailer Locations. Select Deposit Cash with Card to filter for participating retail locations that support adding cash to your account.
When you arrive at the retailer:
- Approach a cashier or customer service desk and ask to add cash to your account.
- Swipe your card.
- Hand your cash to the cashier, plus the retail service fee1.
- You will be provided with a receipt when the transaction is complete.
A retail service fee will be charged to add cash to your account at a Green Dot® Network participating retailer. The fee to add cash will vary depending on your chosen retailer, but will not
exceed $4.95.
Transaction limits will vary by retailer, but most retailers have a limit of $500 per transaction, for a total of $1,500 per day. At Walmart®, you can add up to $1,000 per transaction. Transaction limits are inclusive of fees.
Does Relay charge a fee if I add cash to my account?
Relay does not charge a fee if you add cash to your account. Please note that if you choose to add cash with a Green Dot® Network retailer, the retailer will charge a fee.
How quickly is the cash I add made available in my account?
With AllPoint+ ATMs, the funds are made available in your account instantly. With Green Dot® Network, the funds are typically available within 15 minutes.
