We heard you loud and clear. Small business owners on Relay are looking for advisors to help them run their small business back office. Relay’s Advisor Directory was created to give business owners a great way to find trusted accountants and bookkeepers who are already familiar with Relay. You can find and filter advisors based on several different categories like location, industry, and more.
How it works and who is in the directory?
Relay Partners1 are trusted accountants and bookkeepers listed on the Relay Advisor Directory who offer financial services, coaching, and/or support. Each advisor currently has a firm portal set up in Relay already and is familiar with our banking platform.
How to search for an advisor
You can filter by three main categories: Location, Services Provided and Accounting Software. Enter your preferred selections to begin your search. For each advisor, you’ll see an in-depth profile including their biography, services offered, accreditations, preferred software, and if they’re certified on Relay.
To search for an advisor, go to the Relay Advisor Directory and:
- Search by your location, services provided, or software;
- Click Filter to further filter by the following fields;
- Visit a few profiles and make a shortlist of advisors you want to reach out to; and
- When the time is right, click Send message on the right-hand side to send a personalized email to the advisor.
What gets sent to the advisor on my behalf and how long does it take to hear back from an advisor?
Relay will send an email on your behalf that includes the information you submitted when filling out the outreach form on the Advisor Directory page. This includes your contact information which an advisor will then use to reach out if you are a fit. Response times will vary.
What does it mean to be Relay certified?
Advisors have the option to take Relay’s Banking Partner Certification, however, it is not mandatory to become a Relay Partner. By becoming certified, advisors walk away with knowledge on how to help clients make smarter decisions about their day-to-day banking services and cash flow — and build more financially healthy businesses.
How do I find an advisor who specializes in Profit First?
Profit First Professionals (PFP) certifies accountants, bookkeepers and coaches on how to properly implement and maintain the Profit First method in your business! You can either go to their website to be matched up with a PFP or look out for accountants and bookkeepers who mention they are certified Profit First Professionals in their Advisor Directory profile biography.
