If you carry external credit cards with third parties (e.g., Capital One, American Express, etc.) and want to use the funds in your Relay account to pay them off, you can do so!
There is currently no way to link external credit cards to Relay to pay them off from within our platform directly; however, the alternative would be to contact your credit card company and have them automatically debit your Relay account from their end when payments are due.
In other words, to pay off an external credit card, you'll need to provide your credit card provider with your Relay account details so they can automatically pull pre-authorized payments from your Relay account as needed!
Finding your Relay account and routing numbers
For instructions on how to find your Relay account and routing numbers so you can pass them off to your credit card provider for auto-payments, please see Viewing your account and routing numbers.
Insufficient funds
If you make auto-pay arrangements with your credit card provider, please ensure that you have sufficient funds available in the checking account they're pulling from before payments are due; otherwise, your payments may be returned for insufficient funds.
Please note: if an auto-payment initiated by your credit card provider fails for insufficient funds, you will need to contact your provider to re-initiate the transaction from their end once you've topped up the account.
There are a few ways to add funds to your Relay checking accounts, including internal transfers from other Relay checking accounts, depositing a check, or depositing cash.
