How to receive an international wire in United States Dollars (USD)

To find your account information on your desktop:

  1. Once you have saved your preferred deposit account following the steps listed above, please head back to the Accounts tab.
  2. Click on the checking account you have selected as your deposit account.
  3. Click Details.
  4. Click International Wires under Receive Money.
  5. Choose USD. Once selected, you will see all of the necessary details you need to receive international wires in USD into your Relay account.

Please note: Account information will be different for wires sent in USD, EUR, GBP or CAD. If an international wire payment is sent in a different currency to these details, the funds will be returned to the sender. The timeline of return is dependent on that of the sending bank.

What is Relay's IBAN?

An International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is the account number that's most commonly used for international wires. This number is comprised of up to 34 letters and numbers that help banks process international transfers.

What is Relay's Swift/Bank Identifier Code (BIC)?

Relay uses Swift codes in order to process incoming international wires. Your Swift code can be found by following the steps outlined above.

One Swift code is for receiving international wires sent in USD. We support only one designated deposit account for international wires at this time.

Limits, processing timeline, and fees

All accounts have limits on how much you send by international wire per day and month. For more information on how to view your account limits, please see Viewing your account limits.

For an understanding of incoming/outgoing international wire timelines, please see Transaction settlement and processing timelines for more information.

Relay does not charge a fee to receive international wires.

Tracking international wires using the Swift network

International wires sent in USD using the Swift network can be tracked with an MT103 document. The sender will be able to request this from their bank.
