Once you have registered, you may have to upload missing documents to complete your verification and start using your account. Only registered owners with 25% greater ownership will be able to access and add business documents.
A red banner on your Relay screen may indicate that you need to finish uploading documents:
Personal documents
To check if your personal document is uploaded, go to the More tab, then Profile. If User Verified is underneath your name, your government ID has been uploaded and approved. If it says User not verified, a government ID still needs to be uploaded or verified. A photo of a government-issued ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or state ID card will be accepted. To add personal documents to your profile, click User not verified, then click Upload beside Government-Issued Photo ID.
Make sure to follow the photo requirements to guarantee verification.
Next, follow the instructions below to check if all your business documents are uploaded and approved.
Business documents
To check if your business documents are uploaded, go to the More tab, then Business Info. If it says Business Verified underneath your company name, all documents have been uploaded and verified. If it says Business not verified, there are documents that still need to be uploaded or verified. To upload, click Business not verified.
Look for any unapproved documents that have a red X beside them. Click Upload to add the document to your business profile.
You can refresh the page once all documents are uploaded, or step away and come back to see if all documents have been approved. If documents are still not approved when you come back, go over the documents to make sure the information matches and all pertinent data can be seen. Make sure all documents are in PNG, JPG, JPEG, or PDF format. Government IDs do not support PDF format.
Multiple ownership
If more than one person has 25% or greater ownership of the company, they must be invited to Relay during initial registration. Once all owners have registered and uploaded their government-issued IDs, the account will be completely verified and ready to use!
