Activating your physical Relay debit card

Once you have received your physical Relay Visa debit card in the mail, you will need to activate it before it can be used to make purchases.

You can activate your debit card by navigating to relayfi.com/activate, or by following the instructions below.

How to activate your card (Web)

1. Sign in to your Relay account.
2. Navigate to the Cards tab. 
3. Select the card you would like to activate.
4. Click Activate.
5. Enter your card CVV and expiry date.
6. Click Activate card.
7. Enter and confirm your card PIN.
8. Click Set PIN.

How to activate your card (Relay Mobile App)

1. Sign in to the Relay app on your mobile device.
2. Navigate to the Cards tab. 
3. Select the card you would like to activate.
4. Tap Activate card.
5. Enter your card CVV and expiry date.
6. Click Activate Card.
7. Enter and confirm your card PIN.
8. Click Set PIN.

Your card will be ready for use immediately upon activation.

Please note: if you have multiple physical cards on the way, keep in mind that the card you are activating might not be the card you expected to arrive first. As long as you enter valid card information through the activation portal, then that physical card will activate, even if it does not match the card nickname selected on the Relay web app.
