Resetting your Xero Bank Feed

If you are experiencing connectivity issues between your Relay and Xero accounts, please follow the instructions below to reset the connection. This can be a helpful step to re-establish the flow of transaction data into Xero if a sync failure occurs.

Please note: adding, editing, or removing integrations is only possible on Relay via desktop at this time, as these features are not currently supported on the Relay mobile app.

How to reset your Xero bank feed

  1. Sign in to your Relay account.
  2. Navigate to the Settings tab, then click Integrations.
  3. Click Edit on the far-right side of the Xero logo.
  4. Select all Relay bank accounts, and click Save.
  5. The next step is to disconnect Relay as a connected app on Xero by following the steps on Xero's dashboard:
    • On your Xero dashboard, click the organization name, then select Settings.
    • Click Connected Apps.
    • Under the Connected Apps heading, click Disconnect beside the app name.

  6. Refresh the page that has your Relay account open.
  7. Return to the Integrations tab, click Edit, select the desired accounts to sync to Xero, then click Save.
  8. Click Sync Now (in blue), next to the Xero logo.

Please note: only settled transactions will appear in Xero.
