International Wire Transfer Restrictions
Relay is unable to receive international wire transfers from certain countries due to regulatory, compliance, or banking partner constraints. In addition to these general restrictions, there are further limitations on USD-denominated wires from select countries—even if non-USD wires may be allowed.
This article outlines two important categories:
- Countries from which no international wires can be received.
- Countries from which USD-denominated international wires cannot be received.
Please check both lists before initiating a wire to ensure your transfer is eligible.
Countries from which Relay is unable to receive international wires (any currency)
As of now, Relay cannot receive international wires from the following countries in any currency:

Countries from which Relay is unable to receive international wires in USD
Relay cannot accept USD-denominated international wires from the following countries, even if wires in other currencies may be supported:

The country I'm trying to receive an international wire from is on this list. What do I do?
If the country you're trying to receive an international wire from is listed above, the sending party can instead use a third-party platform, like Wise or another similar payment provider, to send an international payment to your Relay account.
