How to send a domestic wire

Navigating to the domestic wire payment:

1. Select the Payments tab, once signed in.

2. On the upper right corner, click New Payment.

3. A drop-down menu will appear, select Domestic Wire.        

To create a new payee:

1. A payee can be any other stakeholder to whom you are trying to send a wire payment. For example: a vendor, a contractor, or a personal account of yours to which you wish to send funds.

2. If you haven’t yet created the payee, you can follow the brief steps in this article to do so:  Adding and deleting a payee

3. Alternatively, you can create the payee by clicking + New Payee.

To initiate a domestic wire transfer to an unverified payee:

1. Select the payee you wish to make a wire payment to and enter the domestic wire details for the payee to become verified.

2. By checking the box, you ensure the payee information is correct and confirm the details with the recipient.
   • Choose the amount of funds you want to transfer to your payee.
   • Type your reason for payment (This is important for understanding your payment history);
   • And select the account you wish to withdraw the funds from.
   • Once completed, select Next.

To initiate a domestic wire transfer to a verified payee:

1. Select the payee you wish to make a wire payment to and enter the payment details

   • Choose the amount of funds you want to transfer to your payee.

   • Type your reason for payment (This is important for understanding your payment history);

   • And select the account you wish to withdraw the funds from.

2. Once finished, click Next.

   

To make a domestic wire payment

1. If you are initiating a wire transfer payment after the business day cut-off, you’ll receive a pop-up. If you wish to proceed, click Send Wire.

2. Review the payment information, and click Done when you are ready to initiate the payment.

3. Next, an email will be sent to you with confirmation details of your domestic wire transfer. 

FAQs

• How long will the domestic wire transfer take? Wire transfers between U.S. bank accounts will be completed within the same business day (if it is sent before the cutoff time). This means the funds will settle in the receiving account by the end of the banking day, Pacific Standard Time.

• What’s the cost of a domestic wire transfer?  There will be applied fees of $10/transaction.

• When is the cut-off time for domestic wire transfers? The cut-off time for same-day domestic wires is 12:00 PM PST.

• Are there any limits for sending domestic wires? For sending, there is a daily limit of $200K and a monthly limit of $400K.
