Overview
Relay’s Bills Inbox gives every business a unique email address where bills can be sent for automated processing. Forwarding bills into Relay eliminates manual uploads and ensures you don’t lose track of invoices in your inbox.
What Is the Bills Inbox?
When you sign up for Relay, you get a unique forwarding email address. Anyone can send bills to this address:
- Team members
- Vendors
- Accountants
Relay will automatically create a draft bill and attach the document. Please note, that our Bill Pay feature only supports bills in USD.
How to Use It
- Sign in to your Relay account.
- Find your inbox address in Payments and click on Bills.
- Forward or have vendors email invoices to that address.

Relay:
- Creates a draft bill
- Extracts invoice data (vendor name, amount, etc.)
- Notifies you in your dashboard
- Review and complete the bill when ready
Best Practices
- Share this address only with trusted vendors or your team
- Ask vendors to send one bill per email
- Check for missing data—Relay may need your input if our built-in document recognition can’t extract certain fields
Supported Formats
- PDF, JPG, PNG
- Max file size: 25MB
- One file per email is recommended for the fastest processing
