However, due to Adyen’s compliance policies, businesses with an owner who is a citizen or resident of certain restricted countries or that operate in prohibited industries may not be eligible to send payment requests via card.
Why is card payment access restricted for some businesses?
If any owner associated with your business has citizenship or residence in a prohibited country, your organization will not be able to send payment requests via card. This restriction is enforced by Adyen’s global risk policies and cannot be overridden.
