This article shows you how to cancel an existing Relay Pro subscription.
Relay Pro subscriptions may be cancelled directly as a business owner, or accountants and bookkeepers may cancel a subscription on behalf of a client.
Please note that once you cancel your Relay Pro subscription, you will still maintain access to the Relay Pro functionality until the end of your current billing cycle.

Cancelling Relay Pro as a Business Owner
As a business owner, you can easily cancel Relay Pro from your account.
- Log into your account, and navigate to Settings, and then to Billing and Plans.
- Click the red Cancel Plan button at the far right corner.
- Next, you will be prompted to tell us why you are cancelling this subscription. This is an optional step, though we do encourage you to tell us how we may improve Relay Pro.
- Click the green Confirm Cancellation in order to confirm the cancellation of your plan.
After confirming your cancellation, you will lose access to Relay Pro at the end of your current billing cycle.
Cancelling Relay Pro on the Behalf of a Client
This section is intended for accountants and bookkeepers, who can cancel a client’s Relay Pro subscription from within the partner portal.
Please note that as an accountant or bookkeeper, you have the option to pay for Relay Pro on behalf of your clients. Alternatively, you can invite your clients to use Relay Pro, in which case each client pays for their own subscription.
- Navigate to the partner portal, and click the three dots at the far right side of the client’s subscription you wish to access. Then, click Pro Subscription Settings.
- Click the red Cancel Plan button under Billings and Plans.
- Next, you will be prompted to tell us why you are cancelling this subscription. This is an optional step, though we do encourage you to tell us how we may improve Relay Pro.
- Click the green Confirm Cancellation in order to confirm the cancellation of this plan.
You have now successfully cancelled your client’s Relay Pro subscription, and they will lose access to Relay Pro functions at the end of their current billing cycle.

Thing to Know
- Please note that every business owner who signs up directly for Relay Pro will receive a 14 day free trial. Once that trial is complete, your Relay Pro paid subscription will be automatically renewed.
- Your billing cycle is determined by the date you sign up for Relay Pro, and this is also the date at which your Relay Pro cancellation will become effective.
