Why Relay needs this information
Relay needs a personal address on file for users who have certain permissions on a business account. This helps us complete required compliance screening and keep account access secure.
This is a routine update. It does not mean your account is under review, and it does not make you personally liable for the business account.
Who may be asked to add a personal address
You may be asked to add a personal address if you’re a team member with permissions that allow you to take certain actions on behalf of a business, such as sending payments, approving or paying bills, or using transaction-related features.
This request applies to applicable team members based on their role and permissions. It does not typically apply to business owners who already have an address on file.
What type of address is required
You’ll need to provide a personal personal address.
Relay cannot accept:
- P.O. boxes
- Virtual addresses
- Mail forwarding addresses
How to add your personal address
If this update applies to you, you’ll see a prompt in Relay asking you to add your personal address.
To add your address:
- Sign in to Relay.
- Select Add personal address when prompted.
- Enter your personal personal address.
- Submit your address.
Once your address is submitted, no further action is needed.
When to add your address
Please add your personal address by August 31.
If your address is not added by the deadline, your access will be limited on September 1 until the address is provided. Once you add your address, your access will be restored.
What business owners should know
If you’re a business owner, you may receive a heads-up from Relay before your team members are asked to add their personal address.
This notice is meant to help you prepare your team. Applicable team members will receive their own request by email and in Relay.
