Internal Transfers
Relay To Relay Transfers (same login, different business): If you are transferring from one business to another business (both on Relay), they should arrive by same business day. If sent after the cutoff, it will arrive next business day.
Note: If this is a Relay 2.0 account, or the account was created after December 15th, 2022, if sent before 3pm it will still arrive same day.
Relay To Relay Transfers (different login, different business): Standard ACH processing times, 1-2 business days (see below).
Relay Transfers within Two Checking Accounts: Funds should be available right away and ready to use.
ACH
Incoming: The sending bank will have the most visibility into timelines for funds that are sent for ACH transactions. As soon as it reaches Relay, we will put it into your account as soon as possible. Please check with the sending institution for definite timelines and please give until end of calendar day to receive the payment. If this time has passed and the payment has not been received, please reach out to the sending institution in request of the:
1. TRACE ID
2. Amount
3. Date the payment was sent and date the payment should have arrived
Once this information is received, please contact our Support Team and they can assist you further.
Outgoing: 1-2 Business Days.
*For Same Day ACH (available with Relay Pro), these must be sent before 9AM EST and will arrive by the end of business day.
**Note: If this is a Relay 2.0 account, or the account was created after December 23rd, 2022, if sent before 3pm EST it will still arrive same day.
ACH Add Funds via Add Money: 3-4 business days. For faster settlement times, we always recommend to initiate the payment from the sending institution.
Domestic Wire
Incoming: The sending bank will have the most visibility into timelines for funds that are sent for ACH transactions. As soon as it reaches Relay, we will put it into your account as soon as possible. Please check with the sending institution for definite timelines and please give until end of calendar day to receive the payment. If this time has passed and the payment has not been received, please reach out to the sending institution in request of the:
1. IMAD/OMAD Number
2. Amount
3. Date the payment was sent and date the payment should have arrived
Once this information is received, please contact our Support Team and they can assist you further.
Please note that some domestic wires can be received in the evening hours of the day.
Outgoing: Same Day Wires must be sent before 1PM EST. Any wires sent after 1PM EST will arrive next business day, excluding weekends and holidays.
International Wire
Incoming: The sending bank will have the most visibility into timelines for funds that are sent for ACH transactions. As soon as it reaches Relay, we will put it into your account as soon as possible. Please check with the sending institution for definite timelines. If you believe this payment has not been received, please reach out to the sending institution in request of the:
1. MT103 form
2. Amount
3. Date the payment was sent and date the payment should have arrived
Once this information is received, please contact our Support Team and they can assist you further.
Outgoing: International wires will be sent in 1-2 business days from our platform. Once sent, you can download the MT103 and provide this to the receiving contact or institution. (How to Track a Payment)
Check Deposits
Outgoing: 6-7 business days. The 6-7 business day settlement timeline starts one business day after the check was deposited, not including weekends or holidays.
