How long does the application review process take?

Once you've submitted your Relay business account application here, you can expect a prompt response from our team, typically within 1-2 business days.

In some cases, further documents or information may be requested of you via email, which can extend this timeline. To ensure a smooth process, please ensure you're periodically keeping an eye on your email inbox once you've applied, just in case our team reaches out for additional information. 

We strive to review and process applications as efficiently as possible to ensure a smooth experience for our applicants, but if you don't hear back from us within 1-3 business days, please feel free to contact our Customer Experience team to check on the status. We're always here to help!

I'm being asked for a Social Security Card to verify my Social Security Number (SSN), but I don't have one. What do I do?

If your SSN cannot be automatically verified in our system, we will send you an email with a request to securely upload a photo of your Social Security Card. If you've misplaced your Social Security Card and cannot provide it, here are some documents that you can upload in its place:

  • W-2 form
  • 1099 form
  • Signed or filed tax return

Any of these documents will also display your full SSN and can be accepted for verification by our banking partner.
