At Relay, keeping your account secure is our top priority! That's why all Relay accounts are protected by Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
If you would like to change the mobile phone number on your account, you can adjust this in your account settings. You may need to do this if you've recently changed your phone number, or if you would simply prefer to use an alternative number than the one currently on file.
How to update your mobile phone number for 2FA (Web)
- Sign in to your Relay account.
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Under Profile, locate the Phone number field and enter your preferred mobile phone number. This number must be able to receive text messages for 2FA.
- Scroll down and click Save.
This is the phone number your 2FA codes will be sent to moving forward, and this change is effective immediately.
How to update your mobile phone number for 2FA (Relay Mobile App)
- Sign in to the Relay app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Tap on your name at the very top of your screen.
- Tap Personal information.
- Enter your preferred mobile phone number, then click Save.
This is the phone number your 2FA codes will be sent to moving forward, and this change is effective immediately.
I've lost access to my device and can't receive 2FA codes. What do I do?
