How to know if you’re eligible for the Relay Visa® Credit Card

To be eligible for the Relay Visa® Credit Card, your business must have an approved business account with Relay and meet the following criteria:

  • U.S.-incorporated and -operated
  • LLC, General Partnership or Corporation (not a Sole Proprietorship)
  • Established for at least 1 year before the time of credit card application
  • Earn at least $240,000 in annual revenue ($20,000/monthly on average)

Eligible businesses will see an invitation in-app to apply for the credit card. 

Submitting an application

To apply for the Relay Visa® Credit Card on your desktop, click the offer on in your account's main menu to get started.

  1. Review the date and month your business was established. Click Edit if you need to update any details.
  2. Review your business details. Click Edit if you need to update any details.
  3. Review your connected business account. Click Connect business bank account if you'd like to add another account.
  4. Set up auto payment and select a primary and backup payment account.
  5. Confirm the name(s) that will appear on your physical card and the shipping information.
  6. Click Submit application

If additional documentation is required, you will receive a notice by email with a secure link to upload the requested documentation. 

Once the review of your application has been completed, you will receive confirmation via email and an in-app notification.

Will Relay check business or personal credit scores when reviewing an application?

No, we will not check personal or business credit scores when reviewing your application.

Can I apply for the Relay Visa® Credit Card if I do not meet all of the eligibility criteria?

At this time, customers must meet all of the eligibility criteria to apply for the credit card. For more information, please see Checking your eligibility for the Relay Visa® Credit Card.

Can I change my auto-payment accounts after my application is approved?

Yes, you can edit your payment settings at any time. For instructions, please see Changing your primary or backup payment account.

What should I do if I make a mistake on my application?

If you have made a mistake on your application, please contact our Customer Experience team and provide the correct information. 

Can I reapply if my application is denied?

It is generally recommended that you wait at least 3 months or until there has been a material change in your business's revenue or transaction history before submitting another application. For more information on this, please see Why was my Relay Visa® Credit Card application denied?
