With this article, you will be able to add and archive a payee from your Relay account.
A payee can be any other stakeholder to whom you are trying to send funds to. For example a vendor, a contractor, or a personal account of yours to which you wish to send funds.

Navigating to the payee page
- Once logged into your account, select the Payments tab.
- Located above the action items section, click Manage.

Click the box titled Payee.
To add a payee
- Click New Payee in the top right corner.

A pop-up window will appear. Fill in the necessary payee information.

Depending on the payment method selected, different fields will appear.

Ensure the payee information is correct and confirm the details with the recipient.

Check the box at the bottom of the pop-up window to verify you have confirmed the account information with the payee and click Save in the bottom right corner of the pop-up window.
To archive a payee

Select the payee you wish to archive.

A side panel will appear in the right-hand corner of the screen, click Edit.

A pop-up window will appear, scroll to the bottom, and select Archive.

A pop-up window will appear with an option to confirm your decision. If you wish to continue archiving the payee select Yes.
Alternative method to add a payee

Once logged into your account, select the Payments tab.

Click New Payment in the top right corner.

Click + New Payee to begin the process of adding a new payee for this payment type. You will be prompted to plug in the relevant payee information.
Things to know
- When archiving a payee, any payments made to this payee that are in progress will not be affected by this.
