Relay makes it easy to create professional, client-facing invoices that reflect your business identity. This article walks through how to add your business name, logo, and contact details to your invoices—so every invoice you send looks consistent, polished, and on-brand.
Where to manage branding settings
- Sign in to your Relay account.
- Click your business name in the top-left corner
- Go to Settings > Invoicing
This is where you can customize invoice defaults, including branding, payment method preferences, and reminders.
What you can customize
- Business Name: This appears at the top of every invoice

Company Logo:
- Must be a JPG or PNG file
- Recommended size: 500x500px or smaller
- Appears in the top corner of the invoice

Business Contact Info:
- Add your address, phone number, and email
- Displays in the invoice footer

Invoice Number Prefix:
- Optional (Example: INV-2025-001)
Previewing branded invoices
When creating or editing an invoice:
- Click Preview Invoice to see what your client will receive
- Your logo and business details will appear automatically at the top and bottom of the invoice
These changes apply to all future invoices. Past invoices will retain their original formatting.
Best practices
- Use a square, high-contrast logo for better visibility
- Include up-to-date contact info for your business
- Choose a short, consistent prefix for invoice numbers if you use one
