In Relay, business owners can grant advisors (e.g., accountants/bookkeepers) access to their accounts. For instructions on how to invite advisors to your Relay account, please see Inviting team members and advisors to Relay.
When an advisor is invited to join a business owner's Relay account, they will need to create their own unique login, and the functions that an advisor can perform (i.e., the advisor’s permissions) can be modified and managed by the business owner within their own account.
Below is a breakdown of the five different permission levels for advisors in Relay; an advisor's permission level will be assigned to them when a business owner invites them to their account.

Permission level breakdown
Super Administrator
Super Administrators can perform most of the same functions as a business owner. Only beneficial owners of a business can set their advisor's permission to Super Administrator.
Administrator
Administrators can perform all of the same functions as a Super Administrator, except they cannot add funds or make one-time payments.
Please note: when a firm invites a new client to Relay, the advisor will be assigned the Administrator permission level by default. For more information on how to edit permission levels once an account has been created, please see Editing permission levels.
Manager
Managers can view all account activity and make bill payments, though their abilities are far more restricted compared to Super Administrators and Administrators. Please see the above table for specifics.
Bill Payer
Bill Payers can set up integrations with Xero and QuickBooks, make bill payments, and view all transactions, though they have no other abilities.
Read-only
Read-only advisors can view all team members, cards, and transactions, but cannot make any actions within the account on the owner's behalf (e.g., make payments, add funds, create cards, etc.).
