Limits, processing timeline, and fees

All accounts have limits on how much you can send by ACH per day and month. For more information on how to view your account limits, please see Viewing your account limits.

If a same-day ACH payment is sent before 3pm EST (12pm PST) on a business day, the recipient will receive the payment on the same day. If sent after the 3pm EST cutoff time, or on a weekend/holiday, the payment will arrive by the end of the next business day. Please note that this timeline may vary depending on whether or not the receiving bank has its own processing timeline.

Same-day ACH payments are free and are only available to Relay Pro users. If you are not subscribed to Relay Pro, you can still send next-day ACH payments to payees.

Can I send a same-day ACH payment to a non-U.S. bank account?

Unfortunately, ACH payments can only be sent within the United States. To send payments to non-U.S. bank accounts, you will need to do so via international wire.

1 You can only send ACH payments from a Relay checking account. If you would like to move funds out of your savings account, you must first create an internal transfer in Relay between your savings and checking account.
